Terms of use.
Free for your own search. Not for copying, reselling or rebuilding. Your decisions stay yours. Effective 5 October 2026.
1. Who these terms are between
Rolespect, at rolespect.com, is owned and run by Bradley Wendling. In these terms, "Rolespect", "we" and "us" mean him. When you use the site, the app or the clip bookmarks, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
2. What you may do
- Use Rolespect, free, for your own job search.
- Link to it, share it and recommend it.
- If you run a program that serves job seekers, point your clients to it and use a partner link we give you.
3. What you may not do
Your browser has to download the site's code to run it. That download is not permission to reuse it. Without our written permission, you may not:
- Copy, republish or host a copy of the site, the app, its code, its text, its design, its briefs or its clip bookmarks.
- Change, adapt or translate them, or build a product or service from them or modeled on them.
- Sell, rent or charge anyone for access to Rolespect or to anything made from it.
- Collect the site's content in bulk by script, or use it to train an AI model.
- Show the site inside another site, or present it as your own.
- Remove or hide a copyright notice.
- Interfere with the site or try to get around its security.
4. Who owns it
© 2026 Bradley Wendling. All rights reserved. The code, text, design, briefs and reports are protected by copyright. The Rolespect name, the logo and the line "Find the role. Get the Rolespect." are trademarks of Bradley Wendling. Nothing in these terms grants a license to any of them beyond using the tool as described above.
5. Your information
What you enter stays in the browser on your device, as the privacy page describes. It is yours. We cannot see it, so we cannot recover it. Back it up with the Back up button. Clearing your browser's site data erases it.
6. Reviews you send us
If you send a review and tick the box that allows quoting, you give us permission to quote it, with the name you give, on the site and in material about Rolespect. To have a quote taken down, email us and we will remove it.
7. Your search is your call
- Rolespect gives you information and checks. It is not career, legal, tax or financial advice.
- Pay figures, reviews, ghost job checks, matches and recommendations come from public sources and from what you enter. They can be incomplete or wrong. Check anything that matters before you act on it.
- You decide which roles to pursue and what you send. You are responsible for what you submit to an employer.
- When you paste a brief into ChatGPT, Claude or another assistant, that service's own terms apply to what you paste and what it returns.
- Job sites and other sites we link to are run by others under their own terms. Follow them, including when you use the clip bookmarks.
8. No warranty
Rolespect is free and is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We may change, pause or stop any part of it at any time.
9. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including lost data, lost time or a lost opportunity, that come from using or not being able to use Rolespect. Our total liability for any claim about Rolespect will not exceed fifty US dollars.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page changes when we do. Using Rolespect after a change means you accept the new terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Harris County, Texas.
